COSMIC MESSAGE
Jupiter's Great Red Spot is a storm system astronomers have watched for over 300 years. In 2006, a new storm, Red Spot Jr., formed as smaller white oval storms merged and turned red. This webcam image shows both storms, swirling on the gas giant's surface.
