The Milky Way over Utah

NASA APOD · Wally Pacholka (Astropics.com)
COSMIC MESSAGE

The Milky Way appears to rain down on Earth twice a day. As the Sun rises, the scattered sunlight from our atmosphere makes the night sky's wonders fade from view. They reappear as Earth eclipses the Sun at dusk. This dramatic image captures the Milky Way over a rock formation in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah.
