COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet SWAN's ion tail shows ghostly structures, energized by ultraviolet light from the Sun. The solar wind, sculpted by the Sun's magnetic field, pushes this ionized gas outward. The comet unexpectedly brightened, becoming visible to the naked eye.
