COSMIC MESSAGE

The warped spiral galaxy NGC 3718 dominates this field of view, its arms twisted and its core obscured by dust lanes. Nearby, NGC 3729, another spiral galaxy, is likely interacting gravitationally with NGC 3718. This region in Ursa Major is filled with many other galaxies, both near and far.
