A Flock of Stars

COSMIC MESSAGE
Our Sun is relatively isolated, with only a few stars within ten light-years. But if the Sun were in a star cluster, thousands of stars would occupy a similar space. This image, taken at the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, evokes the idea of a sky densely packed with stars, a very different stellar neighborhood.
