Filaments of gas and dust stretch across central Cygnus, a constellation rich in nebulae. This mosaic highlights three nebulae: the Butterfly, the Crescent, and the Tulip. The Butterfly Nebula, IC 1318, sits near the bright star Gamma Cygni. The Crescent Nebula, NGC 6888, is more compact.
