COSMIC MESSAGE
Paul Hickson identified about 100 compact groups of galaxies, and this Hubble image shows one called HCG 90. Three galaxies are interacting strongly here: a dusty spiral galaxy is stretched between two large elliptical galaxies. These close encounters trigger new star formation.
