COSMIC MESSAGE

Omega Centauri, a globular cluster 15,000 light-years away, contains about 10 million stars. It is the largest of the 200 or so globular clusters in the Milky Way's halo. This sharp telescopic image reveals its immense size and dense population of stars, many of which are older than our Sun.
