COSMIC MESSAGE
Astronomers have found 241 Type Ia supernovae using the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope Legacy Survey data. Type Ia supernovae are thermonuclear explosions that destroy white dwarf stars. This data has been used to create a 'sonata' by assigning each supernova a musical note, with its volume determined by the supernova's brightness.
