The Cassini spacecraft looked back at the eclipsed Sun from Saturn's shadow in 2006. The night side of Saturn is partly lit by light reflected from its rings. The rings appear dark against Saturn, but bright when scattering sunlight away from the planet. This unique view reveals unexpected wonders in the shadow.
