COSMIC MESSAGE

The Dumbbell Nebula, also known as M27, is a planetary nebula. This type of nebula is what our Sun will produce when nuclear fusion stops in its core. Charles Messier discovered it inadvertently in 1764, marking it as the 27th object on his list. M27 is one of the brightest planetary nebulae and can be seen in the constellation Vulpecula.
