COSMIC MESSAGE

Antares, a red supergiant, is about 850 times the diameter of our Sun. It is the brightest star in Scorpius and one of the brightest in the night sky. The star is surrounded by a yellowish nebula of gas that it has expelled, made to glow by radiation from its blue stellar companion.
