Two New Hubble-Quality Telescopes Gifted to NASA

NASA received two new telescopes, similar in quality to Hubble, from the US National Reconnaissance Office. These instruments were originally built for reconnaissance but are now repurposed for scientific research. They could be extremely useful for searching for extrasolar planets. The astronomical community is excited about these unexpected additions to our space-based observational capabilities.
