One hundred years ago, in 1913, the Great Meteor Procession occurred. Lucky sky gazers, particularly those near Toronto, Canada, saw a train of bright meteors stream across the sky in groups. About 1,000 people noted seeing the procession, describing it as a amazing sky event.
