NGC 6822, also known as Barnard's Galaxy, is a dwarf irregular galaxy in our Local Group. It sits about 1.5 million light-years away in Sagittarius. This small galaxy, only 7,000 light-years across, still forms stars, visible as young blue clusters. It offers a glimpse into the diverse forms galaxies can take.
