These two nebulae, NGC 7000 and IC 5070, are about 1,500 light-years away. NGC 7000 is on the left and resembles the continent of North America. To its right is the Pelican Nebula, IC 5070, separated by a dark cloud of dust. Both are active star-forming regions.
