Anemic Spiral NGC 4921 from Hubble

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

The spiral galaxy NGC 4921 sits 310 million light years away in the Coma Cluster. The Hubble Space Telescope captured this image to help us identify Cepheid variable stars within it. These stars let us measure distances, which helps calibrate the expansion rate of the universe. A more precise distance to NGC 4921 will improve that calibration.
