COSMIC MESSAGE
Three galaxies are visible over New Zealand in this night sky photograph. The central part of our Milky Way Galaxy arcs high overhead, rising to the east on the left. Beneath the galactic arc, just above the horizon, are the two brightest satellite galaxies of our Milky Way: the Small Magellanic Cloud to the left and the Large Magellanic Cloud to the right.
