The Tadpole Galaxy, Arp 188, has a tail of stars almost 300,000 light-years long. This feature formed when a smaller galaxy passed through it, pulling out gas and dust. Arp 188 is 420 million light-years away in the constellation Draco, and its tail shows bright blue star clusters.
