COSMIC MESSAGE
NGC 253, also known as the Sculptor Galaxy or Silver Dollar Galaxy, is a spiral galaxy rich in dust. It is about 10 million light-years away in the constellation Sculptor. Discovered by Caroline Herschel in 1783, it is one of the brightest galaxies visible from the Southern Hemisphere. Its dusty lanes are prominent, obscuring some of the galaxy's starlight.
