A bubble in a cosmic sea of stars and glowing gas, the Bubble Nebula is cataloged as NGC 7635. It is about 10 light-years wide and sits within a larger complex of interstellar gas and dust clouds. This region is about 11,000 light-years distant, between Cepheus and Cassiopeia.
