COSMIC MESSAGE
This skyscape features Sharpless 2-155, known as the Cave Nebula. The reddish glow of ionized hydrogen atoms is captured through a narrowband filter. This region is about 2,400 light-years away, along the plane of our Milky Way Galaxy toward the constellation Cepheus. It formed at the boundary of the Cepheus B molecular cloud and hot, young stars.
