Spiral galaxy NGC 2841 is 46 million light-years distant in the northern constellation of Ursa Major. This sharp image shows its bright nucleus, inclined galactic disk, and faint outer regions. It also captures foreground Milky Way stars and more distant background galaxies. Dust lanes, small star-forming regions, and young stars are visible within the galaxy.
