NASA's Juno spacecraft has shown us a Jupiter stranger than we knew. Seen from below, Jupiter's familiar horizontal bands give way to swirls and complex patterns. Juno's recent findings show that Jupiter's weather goes deep below its cloud tops, and that its magnetic field is surprisingly lumpy.
