COSMIC MESSAGE
While large spiral galaxies often grab attention, small galaxies like the irregular dwarf galaxy Sextans A also form stars. Its young star clusters and star-forming regions are gathered into a gumdrop-shaped area only 5,000 light-years across. Located some 4.5 million light-years away, Sextans A is visible in the direction of the constellation Sextans.
