COSMIC MESSAGE
A meteor streaks over Crater Lake, a deep blue caldera lake in Oregon. Meteor showers are fast, and it is easy to miss a flash. This meteor is part of the Lyrids shower, which peaks late tonight. Seeing these small granules, once on another world, shoot across the sky is a memorable experience.
