COSMIC MESSAGE
The Parker Solar Probe launched at night, heading for the Sun. Its mission is to study the Sun's outer corona. Most of its instruments will operate in the shadow of its heat shield, creating a perpetual night for them. The probe will take years to shed enough orbital energy to approach the Sun.
