The Seahorse Nebula, Barnard 150, is a dark cloud of dust about 1,200 light-years away in the constellation Cepheus. It appears in silhouette against a background of stars, with new stars forming within its collapsing cores. This region is part of a larger molecular cloud in our Milky Way.
