COSMIC MESSAGE
Dark shapes with bright edges, like dragons, are sculpted from dust in NGC 6188. This emission nebula in Ara is about 4,000 light-years away. Massive young stars in the Ara OB1 association formed only a few million years ago. Their stellar winds and ultraviolet radiation power the nebula's glow.
