COSMIC MESSAGE

Saturn's largest moon, Titan, is difficult to see due to its thick atmosphere and pervasive haze. This haze scatters visible light, obscuring the surface. However, Titan's surface can be imaged more clearly at infrared wavelengths, where scattering is weaker. This image shows Titan in visible light, surrounded by clearer global infrared views.
