This composite image captures three moonless nights under the stars, from August 11-13. Taken from Magyaregres, Hungary, it shows the dusty trail of comet Swift-Tuttle. As Earth sweeps through this trail, we see the Perseid meteor shower. Each meteor trail points back to the shower's radiant.
