COSMIC MESSAGE
The Hercules Cluster of Galaxies, also known as Abell 2151, is about 500 million light-years away. This cluster contains many gas- and dust-rich spiral galaxies with active star formation. It has relatively few elliptical galaxies, which tend to have older stellar populations. The blue tint in this image shows star-forming galaxies, while yellowish hues indicate older stars.
