Spiral Galaxy M66 from Hubble
This Hubble Space Telescope image shows spiral galaxy M66, a member of the Leo Galaxy Triplet. M66 is about 30 million light-years from us and features a small central bar. The Leo Triplet, which also includes M65 and NGC 3628, is a popular target for small telescopes because its galaxies appear separated by about the angular width of a full moon.
