Thor's Helmet, NGC 2359, is a hat-shaped cosmic cloud about 30 light-years across. This interstellar bubble is blown by fast winds from a hot, massive Wolf-Rayet star at its center. This star is in a brief, active phase of its life, creating the dramatic shape of the nebula.
