Apollo 11 Landing Panorama

This panorama shows the desolation of the Apollo 11 landing site on the Moon's Sea of Tranquility. Assembled from high-resolution scans of original film, it captures the view from Neil Armstrong's window on the Eagle Lunar Module. These images were taken 55 years ago, shortly after the historic July 20, 1969, landing. The leftmost frame is the first picture taken by a person on another world.
