This telescopic view looks along the plane of our Milky Way Galaxy towards the constellation Cygnus the Swan. The Tulip Nebula, also known as Sh2-101, is a bright cloud of interstellar gas and dust. It spans nearly 70 light-years and is about 8,000 light-years away. This image uses a Hubble palette, mapping the glow of the nebula's sulfur, hydrogen, and oxygen.
