This is the first direct image of the black hole at the center of our Milky Way galaxy. Called Sagittarius A*, or Sgr A*, it is four million times the mass of our Sun. The Event Horizon Telescope, a global network of radio dishes, captured this image, showing the bent light around the black hole's shadow.
