At the heart of galaxy 3C 75, two supermassive black holes orbit each other, 25,000 light-years apart. They power a giant radio source, blasting out jets of relativistic particles. These black holes reside in the cores of two merging galaxies within the Abell 400 galaxy cluster, 300 million light-years away.
