The Dark Seahorse in Cepheus

COSMIC MESSAGE
This dark cloud, known as the Seahorse Nebula, is silhouetted against a field of distant stars in the constellation Cepheus. Also cataloged as Barnard 150, it is a region of cold, obscuring dust within our Milky Way, about 1,200 light-years away. New, low-mass stars are forming inside these dense clouds.
