Galactic Cirrus: Mandel Wilson 9

NASA APOD · Gabriel Rodrigues Santos
COSMIC MESSAGE

These faint, wispy structures are cosmic dust clouds, sometimes called galactic cirrus. They float about 300 light-years above the Milky Way's plane. These clouds reflect the combined light of distant stars and also emit a subtle reddish glow from interstellar hydrogen, tracing large regions of the sky.
