COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) has developed several long and intricate tails, visible from Earth's southern hemisphere. This image, taken from Paranal Observatory in Chile, shows at least six distinct tails. These multiple tails are likely caused by dust and gas being expelled from the comet's nucleus.
