Even rovers on Mars stop to admire the scenery. Just last November, the Curiosity rover paused to photograph its surroundings. Straight ahead is Central Butte, a flat hill Curiosity studied days before. To its right is distant Mount Sharp, the five-kilometer central peak of Gale Crater, which Curiosity is exploring.
