COSMIC MESSAGE
The Pleiades, or M45, is a famous star cluster easily seen from Earth. Under dark skies, you can even see the nebulosity, the gas and dust surrounding it, with your unaided eye. Telescopes reveal even more of this dust, which glows blue from the light of the cluster's bright stars. The cluster is also known as the Seven Sisters.
