Apollo 17's Moonship

This is Apollo 17's lunar module, Challenger, photographed from the command module, America. It looks angular because it was designed for flight in the vacuum of space. The hatch for lunar surface access is visible in front, and a round radar antenna sits on top. Small reaction control thrusters are on the sides, with the ascent rocket engine bell underneath.
