These two cosmic jets beam outward from a newborn star in Herbig-Haro 24. This stunning scene, captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, spans about half a light-year. It is located 1,300 light-years away in the Orion B molecular cloud complex. The central protostar is hidden, surrounded by a rotating disk of cold dust and gas.
