Rotating Moon from LRO

We do not see the Moon rotate like this because it is tidally locked to Earth, always showing us the same side. However, using detailed images from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, a virtual rotation movie has been created. The video starts with the familiar Earth-facing side, then reveals features like Mare Orientale, a large crater usually difficult to see.
