A Glimpse of Titan's Surface

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Titan, Saturn's largest moon, has a thick, hazy atmosphere. This atmosphere usually hides its surface from view. However, the Hubble Space Telescope can see through the haze in near-infrared light. This image shows surface features, including a bright area about 2,500 miles across.
