NASA APOD · Nik Szymanek
COSMIC MESSAGE

Blown by fast winds from a massive Wolf-Rayet star, the Dolphin-head Nebula, Sharpless 2-308, is a huge cosmic bubble. This nebula lies about 5,000 light-years away in Canis Major. The central star, more than twenty times the Sun's mass, created this sixty-light-year-wide structure.
