Neptune's Moon Proteus

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Proteus is Neptune's second-largest moon, discovered in 1982 by the Voyager 2 spacecraft. Despite its size, it was found much later than the smaller moon Nereid because Proteus has a very dark surface and orbits much closer to Neptune. Proteus has an unusual box-like shape; if it were slightly more massive, its own gravity would pull it into a sphere.
