NGC 147 and NGC 185

COSMIC MESSAGE
These two dwarf galaxies, NGC 147 and NGC 185, are satellites of the Andromeda Galaxy, M31. They sit about 2.5 million light-years away, a little over 35,000 light-years apart from each other. Though Andromeda itself is outside this frame, these galaxies are still bound to its gravity. They are smaller, less famous cousins to Andromeda's other satellites, M32 and M110.
